Didn't go the way I hoped, but thank God for other options!

Yup. You guessed it. 8TV didn't work out. And it wasn't that they didn't accept me, because they DID. But the HR informed me that they can't allow me to intern there at the moment because this isn't exactly my practical training period. They'll need an official letter from the college stating my internship and other "terms and conditions". Therefore, I'll have to wait until my final semester during my "official" internship period.

Fine. I'll wait. But they could have told me this earlier because I've waited more than a month on this application. Even the people who interviewed me didn't know about this. I still can't really get over it. But I will, somehow.

I just went for another interview this morning with Nabilah. If everything works out, I'll be able to start next week. I hope they'll accept us both because the lady said that they already have two interns at the moment. The pros of this company (I wouldn't state now) are that it is nearby and the working hours are much more reasonable. My mom will be relieved. I was actually quite worried earlier. Because if I were to start my internship at 8TV, I won't be able to attend Impact for the next couple of months! O.O

So, thank God for this company. The lady who interviewed us was nice, REALLY nice. The whole working environment is really good and everyone seems really close-knitted. Even their interns come back requesting for part-time jobs. That shows how much they love the job! Nabilah and I were really happy about the working environment and the kind of work that we will be doing as interns. Plus, we MIGHT get to travel! I'll talk more about it IF I am accepted. :)

On the other hand, I've finally painted my whole room! I painted all the walls by myself. And trust me, even though it's a really small room, painting all the walls by yourself is no joke. I spent two whole days during the weekend transforming my room. And now I'm suffering from aches all over. I can't walk properly, can't write properly, and I can't even sit up straight. Waking up this morning took a lot of effort. But I'm glad I'm done. Now the room is ready for my new furniture! But first, I'll have to start throwing some stuff, because I don't think I can fit everything into the new shelves and cupboards! :(
