Besides that, Nabilah and I finished our first draft for the handbook that we are supposed to write. I came up with some points, and Nabs elaborated most of it. LOL I told you she's good at that. We have quite a bit more to go before we submit it at the end of this week. Can anyone spare me some ideas on graphics and suitable layouts for handbooks/manuals?
I was having a bad headache after lunch at the office on Friday and I couldn't do much. After packing up some stuff for a training event next week, I sat in front of the computer and did some minor research. I was so tired and my eyes were really strained. I don't know why I've been having headaches quite often lately. Maybe it's because of the late nights. I quickly said a short prayer and asked God to help me endure the day. Boy, was those six hours LONG. O.O I was worried that I may not be able to make it for Impact at night. But I believe that my headache will be gone as soon as I set foot out of my house to go to church.
True enough, it worked! Thank You, Jesus. I enjoyed the night at Impact, pain-free. :D The Leadership Team introduced a new programme called EXP (Experience) to encourage participation among the youths within their Cell Groups. We made a short video a couple of days before. Although it was a simple video, the minor details of it were hilarious! Our lack of acting skills actually worked. LOL
EXP is basically a mini system we created for the youths to collect points for their CGs. At the end of the term or year, the CG with the highest accumulated points will win Gold Class movie tickets and also a fine dining experience with the Leadership Team! :D I'm so excited. Especially about the fine dining, be it dining as the winning CG or SERVING the winners, I don't mind either one. Hehehe... But of course, I'll have to work hard together with my Froggies to win this. LOL
I hope that the Impact youths are excited about this new programe, because we are really expecting a great change in our youths through this. I pray that we will be able to achieve our goal and that the results might even exceed our expectations. :D But we can't do this without the Lord's help. So, I pray that the Lord's presence will be with us through the year as we start something new in Impact. I also pray that this year will be THE year for Impact.
And... another exciting thing will be happening. A two-time Grammy nominee will be visiting our church during our Sunday service next week!
He's a talent pianist and composer, and he's played famous worship songs as well. Can't wait to hear his testimony!
And before I forget, all the best to all my ACCA friends for your results tomorrow! Especially to Ee Leen, Pei Yi and Nicholas. ^^ All the best! You guys have worked hard, and I believe the Lord will bless you with what you deserve.
Remember... I'm predicting a meal from you guys! :P
