Updates!

Finally. I'm killing time at college now because I have a three-hour break before my next class.

About my internship... let's just say I'm glad that it's over. I learned to deal with different types of people and to be patient doing that. And, I guess I'm a liiiitle more organised now thanks to the crazy inventory and filing. Ugh.

My third semester just started last week and it's been good so far, better than the second semester at least. We have interesting subjects this semester and our lecturers are pretty cool because they have experience in the industry. One of my lecturers for Principles of Broadcasting used to work with the TV industry and he has produced a couple of local TV shows before. For Introduction to Digital Media, we're gonna have to do so much more hands-on work (thank God!). We'll be playing around with professional video cameras. Yay!

I love our Advertising lecturer. He has a very subtle sense of humour. And if we don't pay attention, we won't be able to catch his jokes. He's been showing us a lot of ads and videos during the past two classes, which was really interesting. We have to analyse different ads for one of our assignments. Should start practising! And finally, Media Contexts. Behold... another subject that could most likely be similar to Media Literacies. o.O The horror! I hope it'll be a little more practical and interesting this time, because I don't wanna sit through the same thing all over again!

I'm praying for a smooth journey this semester and to REALLY stop procrastinating. I have to!

And... I'll be going for Impact camp next week. Yay! I love going for youth camps because we really go all out during those four days. Since I couldn't attend last year's camp, my mom didn't say anything when I said I'd be skipping classes for a day (thank God I don't have classes on Thursdays!). :P Plus, I used my own ang pao money this time. It's expensive, but I believe it will be really worth it. Am really looking forward to the camp. Can't wait for the crazy games, night activities, and of course, the sessions with Pastor Dennis. Weee~!

So, that's all for the updates about the past couple of weeks. 'Til next time, annyong!
