I need a breather.

My first few assignments are over and DONE! Especially the research paper which totally sucked the life out of everyone. DONE.DONE.DONE!!!

If you head to Taylor's (now a University, by the way, and just in time before I get my degree!) on Monday, you'll find a bunch of us stoning by the lake. Been meaning to do that all week, and we finally have a excuse to do it! Let's hope the weather allows.

I've been ranting about this on Twitter for the past couple of weeks and I just remembered I have blogged. So here goes!

We were given a dateline to apply for an internship placement on our own before the college decides it for us. I sent my applications to Primeworks Studios for content development and production, something I've always wanted to do. Primeworks was the only place I had in mind because of the many times I've visited the place and seen the way they worked, and even met some of the main people there in various workshops before.

I received a call from them to set up an interview with me in just less than an hour! I was about to leave the library at the time, about to send the hard copy of my applications to Ms Catherine for administrative purposes. Did not expect to get a reply this fast!

The couple of days prior to my interview were nerve-wrecking. Really wanna thank all the people who encouraged me and helped calmed me down, and Nabs and Qiki who accompanied me that day! :D I was surprisingly less nervous during the interview. Probably due to the fact that the questions were simple and direct. And no doubt, prayer works! Laid my hands on my documents and said a quick prayer before I went in.

Throughout the week, I prayed to hear good news from them. And once again, God heard my prayer.

I'd completely forgot about it a few days ago as I was draining brain juice over my assignment. The HR department of Media Prime called me, and this time the reply was very different from what I got the last time when I was supposed to intern with Quickie.

I GOT IT! *jumps* Thank you JESUS!!!

I can't wait 'til November 29. I'm ready to learn everything under the sun, I'm ready to receive all the scolding I need in case I make a mistake, I'm ready to take on this industry, I'M READY!!! And I just can't wait to be... to be... just to be in it.
