Serious lack of updates.

I'm finally blogging again!

I've been so lazy to post up a proper entry in the past couple of months because I haven't been doing much, other than rotting at home and going out once in a while.

My holiday is about to end soon. I can't wait to start college again! March 1st marks the final year of my bachelor's degree. YAY!

At first I wanted to look for a job after Christmas. But of course, the plan failed. And a few people told me to enjoy my holiday for the last time. I just realised I've never had a real break in the past few semester breaks. So, I figured I'd bum around at home for the last time! Lol Because I'll definitely be hunting for an internship during my next break. Wish me luck~

Anyway, let's see what I've been doing for the past couple of months.

Of course, I would never forget the best experience of my life, mission trip in Baguio City, Philippines. I miss everyone. And now my two mission trip buddies are in Australia, furthering their studies. Sigh.. how time flies. It's been almost three months since I last saw Jacinto and his family, and Pepito. I miss the cool mountain weather!

I went to Penang for Christmas and spent the New Year's there too. I don't remember the last time I spend New Year's Eve outside church. Lol We've always had a Thanksgiving Night and new year's countdown in church every year, and then a big feast after that! We decided to go during Christmas time instead of Chinese New Year in the past two years because the food stalls are usually closed during CNY. And my grandpa loves eating my Mom's home-cooked meals. So we stayed home this year as well.

Also, the IMPACT CG leaders went for a team-building retreat at Eagle Ranch Resort, Port Dickson. Our activities were packed. The captain ball game we played in the pool on the second day was the best ball game I've played, EVER. The guys played fair along with us girls and everyone had so much fun. We didn't want to get out of the pool for lunch! I think we played for 2 hours. And activities arranged by the E.R.R. (err... lol) management were no joke. Especially the obstacle course! Climbing over the 8-feet wall was probably our best accomplishment. Thank God for guys! Without them, we would never have been able to do that. This retreat was very rewarding. And I hope everyone grew closer in this trip. One more thing, we all came back looking like roasted chickens! Hahaha...

Surprisingly, I've only seen two movies this break. Ninja Assassin and Little Big Soldier today. Both with my favourites, Rain, Lee Joon and Lee Hom! :p I better not continue talking about them because I can go on forever.

I met quite a few relatives whom I've never seen before this Chinese New Year, especially my Mom's cousins and their children. The family gathering was a little awkward. Thank God I had my giant cousins with me. Did I mention my cousins are all about two heads taller than me? Lol I feel so intimidated standing next to them. Not sure why it didn't feel like the festive season this year and last Christmas. Something's missing. But I can't put my finger on it. Well, at least we had feasts, gifts, ang pao, and family time!

Last but not least, 2010 marks the year for newer and BIGGER responsibilities. Of course I'm stressed out. I hate pressure. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna do it. I just pray for the help and support from everyone around me. It's not gonna be an easy year for me. Lord, please walk me through this year. And I hope I can find that golden opportunity to fulfill one of my biggest dreams this year. :)

P/S I miss my Froggies...
